PHAIDON|STORE
100 Wooster St
(Prince & Spring Sts)
New York, NY 10013
212-925-1900
Open: November 2, 2009 – January 2010

I’m so excited that today Phaidon opens its first U.S. bookstore, PHAIDON|STORE.

Phaidon is my favorite publisher because their books cover all my interests from visual arts and culture to design, travel, food and more!

PHAIDON|STORE features all of Phaidon’s books on topics including fine arts, architecture, photography, design, performing arts, decorative arts, contemporary culture, fashion and film. They also carry the Wallpaper* City Guides, award-winning children’s books, Phaidon’s best-selling cookbooks (including A Day at elBulli, 1080 Recipes, Vefa’s Kitchen, and I Know How To Cook) and their exclusive collector’s editions.

New Fall 2009 titles will be released every week between now and Christmas, including The Silver Spoon: Pasta, featuring new recipes from the team behind The Silver Spoon, the best-selling bible of Italian home cooking; Painting Today, a lively survey of world painting from the last thirty years; and new career monographs on the artists Anish Kapoor and Jeff Wall.

The PHAIDON|STORE is a pop-up store open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 9pm, and Sunday, 9am to 7pm. They offer same-day delivery in Manhattan and personalized concierge service.
