Picrocol website

Véronique Raisin’s one-year-old blog, Picrocol, has comprehensive monthly updates on the French wine scene. She lists events, provides tons of current statistics, recommends one-of-a-kind retailers, suggests food pairings, and much more. The site is playfully named after a character in wine-loving 16th-century author Rabelais’s novel Gargantua and Pantagruel, and like the novel, this site is also written in French.
