Pisco Sour is on cocktail lists everywhere, but PDT has the most delicious and stunning one in town. The consistency of this Peruvian staple is just right, and the frothy, cappuccinolike foam from the whipped egg white holds up nicely. All this in a Stefano Giovannoni-designed Alessi martini glass too elegant for words.

A recent coup de coeur: Fever-Tree mixers. No more saccharine tonics with big, aggressive bubbles to fret over. FT’s Premium Indian Tonic Water is made with natural ingredients ranging from Tanzanian bitter orange oils to African marigold. Try their bitter lemon to recreate traditional drinks such as Pimm’s Cup, or whip up a Yellow-Fever with one part gin (I’d use Hendrick’s), three parts bitter lemon, and a dash of orange juice. Enrich the experience by trying different types of glasses to serve your drinks in!
