The newly revamped Provence in SoHo is serving a 100% sparkling Chardonnay from the Eastern wine region of Jura, France. Don’t miss this gem from the famed winemaker Stéphane Tissot. Provence has a lovely, long bar, perfect for a drink before a movie at nearby Angelika. This bubbly is $12 by the glass (and $42 by the bottle). If you want to pick up a bottle to enjoy chez toi, make it an excursion and venture out to LeNell’s in Red Hook. You’ll wish there were more wine stores like this in your neighborhood. They are selling the crémant for $20 a bottle, and also carry two other Jura varietals by Tissot worth a try: a Trousseau (red) and a Savignin (white).
