Though Soba Totto specializes in soba, their forte is still the grilled skewered goods of their original sister restaurant Yakitori Totto. This is why I find the yakitori (grilled skewers) donburi (rice bowl) a good choice for lunch. It’s a combination of grilled chicken meatball, thigh, breast, and shishito peppers over a bed of seasoned rice. The donburi comes with miso soup, pickles, and daily vegetables, so it’s also a balanced meal. The signature seal of the Totto cuisine is the excellence in clean flavors and high quality ingredients, and it’s no different at Soba Totto.
