This tiny Trinidadian restaurant has the most amazing deal in town. The polourie, deep-fried curry flavored dough balls with tamarind sauce, are eight for a dollar. I really don’t think you can find a better deal anywhere, not just because it is cheap, but because the tamarind balls themselves taste so good. Polourie can be the perfect party favor. You won’t break the bank but you’ll definitely please the crowd. As long as you don’t run out.
