Stand may be a burger joint, but it’s probably best known for it’s toasted marshmallow shake. This glass of pure decadence is something everyone should try at least once, even if you’re not a big fan of sweets. A sip of the thick, rich ice cream shake is sure to evoke, “Oh my god! What is this heavenly delight?” What’s more, it’s topped with two real toasted marshmallows! As you down this drink, you’ll experience euphoria.

What was once a valuable medicine for the Romans is now my favorite after-dinner treat. Greek yogurts seem to be on the rise, and I have found my favorite in the bunch. While I can appreciate the taste of plain Greek yogurt drizzled with honey (lots of it), The Greek Gods fig yogurt has swept me off my feet. It has the thick consistency of typical Greek yogurt, but a layer of sweet fig spread awaits you at the bottom. Caramel in color and seedy like a Newton, the fig paste is absolutely delightful. Mixed with the honey and yogurt, the result is a creamy, toasty concoction. Forget the medicinal aspects, I’m eating this for taste!

Mac & Cheese

The mac & cheese at Westville is on the runnier side, and the focus is less on cheese than on the cream. I like it because, while mac & cheese can often turn out too dry and monotonous, the mac & cheese with bacon at Westville is flavorful and fun. I crave mac & cheese because it is comfort food, but I’m usually disappointed by what I’ve tried at places like Bubby’s and Chat ‘n’ Chew. Westville leaves me wanting more next week.
