These sliders are unusually yummy because there’s chorizo in the patties — a brilliant formula that makes a regular burger extraordinary. The four minis come with ketchup and garlic sauce. Garlic sauce is yet another ingredient (in addition to chorizo) that makes everything taste good, and you should dip the yuca fries and the burgers in it. Your tummy will be so satisfied by the end of the meal. Just realize that, with your garlic breath, you’ll be ready to face any vampire — even the day after — so think twice before bringing a date to satisfy this craving.

The steak sandwich has thin strips of steak, potato sticks, lettuce and tomato. So instead of having fries on the side, they’re inside the sandwich. Spice lovers should make sure to get lots of the “green sauce.” It’s so tasty that, if I could, I would order a side of steak sandwich to go with it.

Empanadas

The empanadas at Havana Pies are deep-fried, Cuban style. While this may seem to make them heavier than baked ones, Havana Pies has some of the best fillings for empanadas in town. The wild mushroom and spinach empanadas, in particular, are juicy and delicious. I could have two in a row and still crave them.
