Knickerbocker’s potato latke definitely brightens my Sundays. With house-cured smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and sour cream and chives, this potato pancake is thick and hearty. The fried patty of shredded potatoes and grated onions has a dense texture like a dumpling, and though deep-fried, is not too greasy. Accompanied by a Bloody Mary, my Sunday starts out merry.
