Falai Panetteria Bomboloncini
April 26th, 2007
The winners for this week’s BF are Dena and Jenn.
Your sweets are waiting for you at Joe (9 E 13th St) in boxes customized with your names. Congratulations!
Thanks everyone for your raw food cravings! I will definitely be checking them out in May.
I really enjoy Baking Fridays and hope you will look forward to next week’s possible winnings!
Have a good weekend everyone!
Today marks the official start of Baking Fridays!
In case you haven’t picked up one of these pink postcards around town, let me explain what Baking Fridays is.
Cravings is offering baked treats on Fridays to select Cravings readers.
On Baking Friday mornings, we will announce what treats are being offered that day (see above right). We’ll also post a reader-input question such as “What’s your top craving this month?” Answer the question of the day and you will automatically be entered into the drawing to win the baked goods of the day. One simple comment and you could bring home a box of goodies.
Added bonus: Free coffee! Pick up your winnings at award-winning coffee shop, Joe, at 9 East 13th Street (between 4pm to 8pm), and enjoy a beverage of your choice.
With the arrival of spring, I am craving lighter foods. So here’s today’s question:
Q: WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RAW FOOD CRAVING IN THE CITY?
Sample answers: “Sushi from Sasabune.” or “Salad bar at City Bakery.”
Just click on “comment” below and submit an answer by 2pm today. The winner will be contacted via email.
This week, chef Iacopo Falai of Falai Panetteria is generously contributing his famous bomboloncinis, doughnuts filled with either raspberry and strawberry jam or pastry cream. Two winners have the chance to win a box of three doughnuts each.
Note:
Baking Fridays occurs one Friday a month. Sign up to be on our mailing list and we'll let you know when Baking Fridays takes place!
If you have food allergies, please read the ingredients label carefully.
My favorite raw craving in the city is sushi on 44th street between 2nd & 3rd.
Great to see you in Paris!
